Initial assessment, short term intervention or long term intervention dependent on your child's individual needs, including:
Speech sound difficulties
Language delays and disorders
Gestalt language processing
Interaction therapies

Complex needs such as, Autism, Selective mutism, Mental health and AAC users

Sessions will take place at home or in the education setting. I am able to offer services across areas of North Northamptonshire including: Corby, kettering, Welligborough and surrounding areas
I also offer remote sessions for everyone else!

Call for a FREE 15 minute initial consultation via phone. Services are flexible and I am currently offering online or face-to-face appointments
Consultation and Assessment
Full initial assessment session for a variety of speech, language and communication needs including:

Children with complex needs, diagnosed or suspected, such as, Intellectual disabiilties, Autism, ADHD.

We also provide consultation with schools and other setting to ensure your child's speech, language and communication skills are understood by everyone
Therapy
I use solution focused approaches. This means I focus on what your child CAN do and use these skills as a foundation to build on. By recognising these natural skills therapy feels positive and empowering. Each therapy package is then naturally catered to the individual.
Therapy is offered on an individual basis, either in the child's home or education setting.
Family
Friendly
My approaches are child led and Family focused. Parents are the best therapists a child can have. I like to work with families to build their awareness of their own skills and support them to build these into everyday situations creating multiple communication learning opportunities.

Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Hi, I’m Erin. I founded Nottingham Speech Therapist in 2020 while continuing part-time work in the NHS as a highly specialist SLT supporting adults with intellectual disabilities. I’m now fully independent, with experience across health, education, and justice settings, including developing and managing a service on the remote island of St. Helena.
I work with local authorities, specialist and mainstream schools, and families, supporting children with a range of speech, language, and developmental needs. I specialise in child-led, interaction-based approaches that prioritise engagement, enjoyment, and strong family involvement.
